DSFRC collaborates with additional community services such as the San Leandro Adult School as well as provide external resources through our Family Advocate Binder and Eden I&R, as well as cultivate relationships with community professionals such as lawyers to offer a complete array of services for our families. Families benefit greatly from programs that are collaborate resources to ensure that we are working smarter, not harder for each client.
 
San Leandro Adult School
Each Semester a DSFRC clients are able to sign-up at no cost for computer and business administration classes conducted at DSFRC through the San Leandro Adult School. Classes include basic computer skills for Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as business administration classes and typing classes. Sign-ups are conducted through the Family Advocate intake process and classes are held in the evenings.


Resource and Referral
Our team of receptionists and Family Advocate update and renew our agency resource binder to ensure families have accurate and relevant resources to meet their current needs. As a practice, we utilize community services such as Eden Information and Referral for weekly updates to new and outdated resources.
