Clothing Donations

The clothing program is designed to meet the needs of people who cannot afford to buy their children new tennis shoes for school or warm jackets in the winter, because of their very limited incomes. This program was once our Thrift Store at the Church site and today, the program’s focus is on those families who cannot afford even the thrift store prices for the most basic clothing needs.

Items that are most needed by families are shoes for children and adults, jackets, pants, jeans, dresses, sweaters, baby clothing and shirts. In addition to the clothing that is offered, we also recognize the need many families have for small household items and ask for community donations such as toasters, pots, pans, dishes, towels, blankets and bedding. Clients can access this program on an as needed basis through the Family Advocate.

To ensure the clothing program is able to be sustainable and offer items such as donated clothing and small household items at no cost to the client, our program is primarily staffed through volunteers within the community. To inquire about donations or to volunteer your time to our program please call 510-347-4620 ext 119.
