Alice Bedinger, Alternative Payment Program Director, M.S.
Joined Davis Street in July 1988. She holds a MS in Clinical Counseling and BA in Human Development as well as a Children’s Center Supervisory Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She has been with the agency since it was a ministry of the First Christian church. Over the last 27 years she has held various positions including School Age and Pres School Teacher, Alternative Payment Program Assistant, Children Services Director. Ms. Bedinger oversees the agency’s Alternative Payment Program Stage 2 and Stage 3 contracts totally over $ 5.5 million dollars. She is a member of CAPPA-California Alternative Payment Program Association, CAMFT-California Association of Marriage/Family Therapists, is a member of the Alameda Childcare Planning Council and presently Chairs the Alameda Child Care Planning Council’s CalWorks workshop/committee.
